International Communication and Cooperation

 Since Heilongjiang Institute of Construction Technology was established, the college has been putting emphasis on the international communication and cooperation with the areas and countries where the vocational education is developed to fit in with the economic globalization and to serve the national development strategy of learning abroad. Gradually, the college will raise the international prestige and promote the internationalization level. The college has communicated and cooperated with Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Singapore Nanyang Polytechnic University, Assumption University of Thailand and other vocational education institutes in England, Germany and America and signed the long-term cooperation agreements on the exchange of international students, mutual recognition of some specialized courses and credits, the communication between teachers and students, the teachers¡¯ training and the academic exchange. The college has sent 300 teachers successively to the above countries or areas to study as visiting scholars. Many scholars from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Taipei Urban University of Science & Technology, the University of New England in Australia, the Fast East Polytechnic University in Russia, Singapore Nanyang Polytechnic University, Assumption University of Thailand, Hans Seidel Foundation, Germany Construction Training Institute in Hessen Neidlingen, Society for the promotion of Architectural Design in Germany, Korea Kyonggi University, Korea Daelin College, University of Texas, University of Malaya also came to visit our college and give lectures successively. The college takes the multinational groups, e.g. China State Construction LTD. Overseas Operations and China Construction International Corporation as a teaching platform to try to infuse the teaching process with international vocational qualification criterion. We have assigned excellent graduates to Singapore, Russia and United Arab Emirates to meet the demands of the abroad development of our enterprises. Making full use of the advantages of the construction of the national demonstrative higher vocational college project and using the experience of the developed countries¡¯ personnel training and teaching resources for reference, the college has greatly promote the teaching staff¡¯s comprehensive quality, teaching level and the personnel training quality and lay the foundation of building the world-famous national demonstrative higher vocational college through the way of mutual recognition of some specialized courses and credits, the communication between teachers and students, the teachers¡¯ training and the visiting scholars.
